Radley
Recently, I visited Amherst and Northampton, Mass. While traveling through the snow covered roads, a creature appeared in my rearview mirror gliding through the fields. I felt he was following me so I stopped the car to say hello. He introduced himself as Radley and welcomed me to the area. From that moment on I saw him everywhere. Skiing the fields, the hills and the mountains. I even bumped into him at The Eric Carle Museum. We both shared the same enthusiasm for a piece by Garth Williams that he created for "Little Fur Family". It was Amazing!
I hope some day soon Radley and I will get to hang out again.

Howling's Space Travel
James Howling, Myrtle Tweedy, Tu and Robot Henrik have spent countless hours completing their new project. A spaceship named HOBANU 1. They have yet to test their new craft outside of the hemisphere. Soon, they will prepare for the amazing galactic journey. All are excited about sharing their travels with us in their respective journals. Let's Wish them luck!

James Howling's Robot
At a very young age, James Howling discovered that he was uniquely handy. Especially when it came to building robots. Often, James can be found in his workshop with his good friend Mrytle Tweedy planning his next mechanical marvel. Today, James Howling is affectionately introducing his latest robot creation 'Edison'.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy and take the time to send my thoughts and prayers to the Amazing folks of Newtown, Ct. You are forever in my heart.

James Howling
Young James Howling lives in a treehouse off the shores of Wolf Lake. He is an active hiker, adventurer and seeker. He tries to keep himself out of trouble, but sometimes curiosity gets the better of him. When he is not running around with the creatures of the forest he can often be found with his best friend Myrtle Tweedy (who you will meet soon). They enjoy reading books and swapping tales about the magic and mystery of Hobanu.

Tu Travels
Tu traveled below the earth through slippery tunnels, coasted on rumbling streams and flew high above hopping from branch to branch on the tallest of trees. It took him a couple of weeks, but he made it home safe and sound with many stories to tell. It's not often that I get to spend time with Tu. If he is not here in Hobanu, he is traveling, collecting photos and keeping journals to add to his many volumes of travel experiences. You could easily get lost in his world after reading his stories. Thanks Tu!

Tu's Visit
My old friend Tu came for a surprise visit last week. He traveled from the northern most point of Hobanu Forest where the snow has fallen for quite some time. Tu has said that it is the most magical region of Hobanu. He also said that what happens in the north is better left unexplained and should really be experienced for one's self. Safe Travels!

Friendly Wolfen
Wolfen is not exactly the most revealing creature that I've met. Each time we get together he reveals his personality a little bit more than the last. Wolfen is sly and likes to play tricks on the other creatures of the forest. He is also mysterious and at times difficult. Despite all of that Wolfen is quite friendly and not as frightening as I once thought.
That being said, I am still trying to get him to reveal his true name, sadly I've had no luck. I look forward to many more strange encounters. So long for now Wolfen.

Tu
Late last night my old friend Tu stopped by for a surprise visit. We caught up for a bit, enjoyed a pot of tea, ate delicious treats and Tu shared a few amazing travel stories. It's been a while since the last time we had a chance to hang out, but its like no time has passed at all. I hope we have many more nights just like this. See you soon Tu!
